Westfield - Studio East

When opening their second central London centre, Westfield wanted to create awareness of the Stratford City development whilst endearing it with the creative communities in East London. So we developed Westfield Studio East; a ground-breaking initiative to support emerging East London talent and ingrain the creative spirit of the local area into the fabric of the new development. 

We deployed a creative panel of leading global names who mentored protégés through to the opening and, as a result of the collaborations, the mall’s staff uniforms, lighting and public art were all designed by young Londoners. 

To announce the project, we created a pop-up restaurant at the top of Europe’s largest building site – a venue with new views of London and the Olympic Park – and crucially, reachable in just 6 minutes from the newly opened HS1 at St. Pancras International.


3 weeks of lunch and dinner sittings sold out in just 1 day bringing 5,000 of London's early adopters to the site
